Ordering and shipping policy for Floatland webshop
(excludes services, second life items and i-sopod tanks)

Prices
All prices are in Euro and exclude VAT/BTW and shipping. VAT/BTW and shipping will be calculated at checkout. See below.
VAT/BTW
For business customers (VAT number)
If you would like to receive an invoice, please setup your Floatland account prior to your first order. Provide your valid European VAT number and your business and contact details. We will then set you up as a business customer, this confirmation can take up to one day. You will receive an invoice within a week of placing your order. See invoices. Business customers from the EU, excluding NL, will be able to order VAT exempt.
For private customers (no VAT number)
In accordance with the new European VAT platform, as from July 1, 2021, the VAT will be calculated at checkout based on your country of destination. Note: according to regulations, it is not possible to ship our Hydrogen Peroxide and Stabilized Hydrogen Peroxide 35% to private users.
Invoices
Corporate customers with their Floatland account set up will receive an invoice within a week after ordering.
Shipping and shipping cost
Shipping costs and method are based on the nature of products: weight, volume, product type, shape, handling, and on destination. The shipping company will be selected depending on these factors.
If the standard shipping method does not apply, you will be notified in the shopping cart. You will then be guided to a Shipping Quote Request Form, and an offer including a customized shipping rate will be sent to you within 48 hours to finish your order.
Pick-up in Eindhoven is always free of charge, loading not included.
EU countries
We generally ship standard postal to all EU countries up to 60 kg in weight. For orders above 110 kg and for chemical products, you will be guided to a Shipping Quote Request Form. An offer including a customized shipping rate will be sent to you within 48 hours.
Non EU countries
We ship, when possible, to any other country outside Europe upon request. We will make a price offer to your destination.
Smaller Orders up to 5 kg
The shipping cost will be calculated at checkout. Small orders up to 5 kg are shipped daily.
Orders between 5 and 60 kg
The shipping cost will be calculated at checkout. Orders up to 60 kg are usually shipped within 2- 4 days.
Orders between 60 and 110 kg
The shipping costs are calculated at checkout. Shipments between 60 and 110 kg are arranged with a transport company. Usually the goods are shipped within a week.
Orders as from 110 kg
For orders above 110 kg, you will be guided to a Shipping Quote Request Form. An offer including a customized shipping rate will be sent to you within 48 hours. The order will be usually ready for shipping within one week after receipt of full payment.
Epsom Salts
Epsom salt deliveries are mutually arranged. Shipping costs are calculated separately based on country of destination and shipping provider. Shipping delivery time frames are confirmed upon receipt of full payment.
We can provide you with a full price offer in advance, including transport to your destination.
Epsom salt up to 50 kg (1 or 2 bags)
Without other items, one or two bags of Epsom salt will proceed through checkout and can be delivered by standard post. Free pickup in Eindhoven is usually possible the workday after your order.
Epsom salt as from 50 kg up to 1.000 kg
When checking out, you will proceed to a form to receive a customized shipping price quote. Prices and shipping times depend on country of destination. They can typically be carried out within one week. Free pickup in Eindhoven is usually possible the workday after receipt of full payment, loading is not included.
Epsom salt as from 1.000 kg up to 2.000 kg
When checking out, you will proceed to a form to receive a customized shipping price quote. Prices and shipping times depend on country of destination. They can typically be carried out within two weeks, and free pickup in Eindhoven is possible 1 week after receipt of full payment, loading is not included.
Epsom as from 2.000 kg
For amounts exceeding 2.000 kg, please contact us for a full price quote, including transportation, if applicable. Free pick-up in Eindhoven is possible 1,5 weeks after receipt of full payment, loading is not included.
i-spod tanks, Float Commander Control Systems
These deliveries are based on custom made offers with their own terms and conditions related to shipping, etc.
Second life tanks and float items
The agreements concerning these transactions and deliveries are made directly in agreement with the seller.
Price Offers
For larger orders, we are happy to make you a full price offer in advance, including transport to your destination. Please contact us for a price offer.
Ordering
You will receive an e-mail notification when your order has been received.
Note: we need a valid VAT number for the Hydrogen Peroxide 35% according to regulations. We are not allowed to ship to private users.
Product Availability
Items are subject to availability. Images are representative of product quality, but items may be substituted with comparable quality as required. For more details, see Legal Notice in our Terms and Conditions.
Product Compliance and Guarantee
Although we do our best to ensure product quality, please inspect the items in your order. If there is a defect or incorrectly delivered item, please notify us within 2 weeks with the details and photos. The warranty period of the product supplied by Floatland corresponds to the manufacturer's warranty period. Returns Policy and Refunds
Private customers (who do not use a VAT / BTW number) can return any item up to 14 days after confirmation of the order and are responsible for return shipping costs. For more details, see Refund Policy in our Terms and Conditions.
Product Suitability
All tips, information and advice are not binding and no rights can be derived from them. Our guidelines regarding choice, application and dosage of products do not supersede local regulations or requirements and guidelines of the manufacturer of float tanks or operating systems. If in doubt, please check the application with the manufacturer and/or local authorities. Please always use safety equipment as indicated. Article 13 - Delivery and execution
- The place of delivery is the address that the customer has made known to the company.
- With due observance of what is stated in paragraph 3 of this article, the company will execute accepted orders expeditiously but at the latest within 30 days, unless the customer has agreed to a longer delivery period. If the delivery is delayed for more than 30 days, or if an order cannot or only partially be executed, the customer will be notified of this no later than 30 days after he has placed the order. In that case, the customer has the right to dissolve the agreement without costs. The customer is not entitled to compensation.
- All delivery times are indicative. The customer cannot derive any rights from any stated terms. Exceeding a term does not entitle the customer to compensation.
- In the event of dissolution in accordance with paragraph 3 of this article, Floatland will refund the amount paid by the customer as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days after dissolution.
- If delivery of an ordered product proves to be impossible, Floatland has the right to make a replacement item available. It will be communicated in a clear and comprehensible manner by e-mail that a replacement item is being delivered. For replacement items right of withdrawal can not be excluded. The costs of any return shipment are at the expense of Floatland.
- The risk of damage and/or loss of products rests with Floatland until the moment of delivery to the customer or a representative designated in advance and made known to Floatland, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
