*New* Disposable Polypropylene 1 micron String Wound Microfilters Size 10" or 9 7/8".
Wound Microfilters are most recommended for filtration of an Epsom Salt solution as they have a large filtration area and therefore only little flow loss over time.
According to Dr. Roy Vore, PhD and microbiologist, the 1 micron wound filter is most recommended to remove any contaminated particle out of your float solution:
"The 1 micron filtration is the best technology to prevent transmission of anything between floaters."
The 1 micron filter is available per piece, or per 10, 25 or 50 pieces.
To be replaced each week, depending on use ratio.
An important note: The 1-micron filter will reduce water flow, and therefore, not all float systems are likely suitable for this filter. Check to ensure that the pump and the piping system can handle a higher pressure, and that the water turnover is still sufficient between two float sessions.
TIPS
👉We highly recommend testing the 1-micron filter first. And also to use the filter occasionally and alternate with your standard filter sizes for smooth operations of your system.
Use 20, 25, 50 or 75 micron 3 times per month
Use 1 micron occasionally to remove any contamination
Use 5 or 10 micron once a month for in depth filtering of particles in your solution.
